somehow was assuming people would stay centered on the spindle instead of accepting less knee bend at the top but that makes sense. spinning small circles down low.
If you are standing and the distance between your front foot and your back foot gets smaller you get taller.
It's not a huge amount, but it did feel weird going from 175 to 155.
I'm still mad they don't do cotter pin cranks and 135mm QR rear hubs! It's an outrage I tells ya!

I think we were discussing it here. I know first hand that Canyon and Merida do it but there was a third brand I can't remember, I think @jonKranked knew it.
Looks like Canyon stopped doing it. Not sure why, it’s a great system. The cable covers doubles as a downtube protector. Guerrilla Gravity has a similar system I believe.

And here's the clincher, we are probably on the verge of seeing dual-rotor/caliper front setups due to e-bike proliferation. That shit is just around the corner and we are all going to have to upgrade our hubs again for enduro riding, to run rotors on both sides. Mark my marklar. Think about it...first it was 15mm...then 15mm boost, now 15mm boost DR. Search your feelings, you know it to be true.
