No mention of the higher center of mass with shorter cranks.
Why would this be true? Assuming both legs of equal mass then in any position having one leg displaced N mm further up or down would be entirely offset by the other leg, no

It will raise COG while in the saddle if anyone cares about that.

Also if you corner with the outside foot down.

Ok, I get the outside foot down, standing full height bit

but how would CoG change while in the saddle given my "other leg of equal mass" argument?

somehow was assuming people would stay centered on the spindle instead of accepting less knee bend at the top but that makes sense. spinning small circles down low.

If you are standing and the distance between your front foot and your back foot gets smaller you get taller.
It's not a huge amount, but it did feel weird going from 175 to 155.

They do still do 135 qr. And 130

And their MK1 crank design wasn't actually much of an improvement over cotter pins.

Always thought the channel formed into a frame tube to coral the cables with a simple bolt on cover was quite elegant. Can't for the life of me remember who does it, and too lazy to ask the googles.
I think we were discussing it here. I know first hand that Canyon and Merida do it but there was a third brand I can't remember, I think @jonKranked knew it.

And here's the clincher, we are probably on the verge of seeing dual-rotor/caliper front setups due to e-bike proliferation. That shit is just around the corner and we are all going to have to upgrade our hubs again for enduro riding, to run rotors on both sides. Mark my marklar. Think about it...first it was 15mm...then 15mm boost, now 15mm boost DR. Search your feelings, you know it to be true.

I want the rotor dead in the middle of the hub. I haven’t figured out the engineering yet, but think of the protection!
you will only have to unlace one half of the hub to replace the rotor, but hey, progress!

Brilliant! Now you have to bleed your brakes every time you switch your wheel. Well worth it! The lizards salut you and make you an honorary member of the club. Is your skin already starting to develop scales? :D

Well, just speculating here, but what if we used a real large disc rotor, say, maybe the rim itself, because it's like way way bigger than disc rotors on the hub?
