I mount mine on my helmet for downhilling, and chest mount for trail riding. Fairly stable, very little, if any, shaking, unless really rough...

Seeing that I can sweat in a freezer, I use Headsweats skull caps. They work well for me, and I don't get rivers of sweat running into my eyes.
