For the Fanboys.. Don't know if the Sundays are still a prized acquisition but I was at Go-Ride yesterday and they had a few Sundays for super cheap...
All the turner stuff (DHR..) was as low as I ever seen it.. Good time to have some cash laying around :poster_oops:
Haha thanks for the explanations Connie! I saw the pics and figured what the hell are you girls doing on the small bikes at Mt Snow of all courses... Good on you for going at it though. :monkeydance:
It's boring and lacks technical difficulties. Les 2 Alpes has better trails higher up and if you go to Oz, the next resort up the valley (with Alpes D'Huez) you will find a trail incredibly more fun in both challenges and flow.
What would it be as a percentage of the numbers of that specific car on the road? As an exemple an F150 is plenty common so wouldnt it make the list just because they are everywhere?
I am sorry but when I see that the first things that comes to my mind is this:
seriously. What's armor for?
Same for the guys who were eating it in Barney rubble with no armor no gloves... No sympathy there.. Just good laughs...
The new deemax are pretty sweet! Faster engagement and lighter weight? Nice
1000$ is expensive but for stuff made in Europe and the dollar being the new peso that make sense.
Course looked super fun... pretty bummed I could not ride.
Some results from all I can remember:
PRO:
5 CVD (cannondale)
7 NVD (cannondale)
8 Pierce (Specialize / go-ride)
9 Jonhston (KHS)
SEMI:
1 Craner (Fezzari.. on a Canfield Jedi, by 9 seconds!)
2 ?
3 Vdub (go-ride)...
Got it ;) Never got hurt tough right?
Beside if you get the holeshot down he glacier nobody is gonna take you out!!!
On that topic, the glacier this year should be THE BEST it has been in many m,any years!!! Should be good!
Many many top world cup racers ran the mega over the years. I don't think any of them got hurt. That's all I was trying to say. The event is not dangerous (well except for your ego ;)).
Hum that sounds like a weak excuse... Many top WC guys with much more to loose do not seem to have that issue. Which top rider even got "cleaned out" at Alpes d'Huez in the last 10 years?
It's cool being king of the hill especially when it's Downieville but you don't achieve greatness by...
Haha. You stopped riding expert so long ago you don't even remenber what expert practive was like. Waiting 10 minutes at every feature is something you must have forgotten from these days. My last expert year I passed somebody (or even a couple) at 4 out of 5 Nationals. That's bull considering...
I might be wrong but I think that if you do comp via an FFC (french USAC) club with a trainer and all you must enter DH, XC and Trial. You're allowed to focuse on one discipline only after 14? Or someinthg like this ;)
No offence but the biggest issue is the people who move up to fast not that sandbaggers. A sandbagger will never ruin my practive or my run. A person who moved to a class he cannot handle on the other hand is a bigger issue. :banghead:
I'd rather race expert if I could but nationals were...
