if that means i can climb up clawhammer and maxwell cove like that then yes!! JK! Actually thats one of the reasons i went with the Fox 36 so I didn't look like a copycat, but after riding it that geo suits my style. So I guess I'm a herndonite then :)
Good point. The 36 feels great, but it just seems like it's a little steep for some reason. I have the low BB shock shuttle on there too. So, I'll ride it until I get an offer on it and think about it then. The feel of the TALAS is amazing though. If it were a 170mm it would be perfect.
I weigh 182, ride mostly aggro XC trails, but do a decent amount of shuttling that includes steep fast singletrack. Occasional DH. I have the LSC backed all the way out from stock, LSR sped up by 3 clicks, HSC and HSR stock. Feels great so far. I still am going to go for the Totem. I was...
well, after the 2nd ride the conclusion is I want the totem. I like a little slacker geometry. The 36 feels amazing, it's just a little too short for my taste. So, anyme want a killer deal on an 08 36RC2 Talas? $875?
Alright, after months with no bike, it finally get here. :D But, I had to get rid of the Candy Corn Paint scheme on it. Sent it to the approved Specialized powder coater, and got it done in Silver Sparkle Metallic. It looks so much better than these pictures let on. I had to tape my Gravity...
Well, as for headsets, how about from the company that originally invented the threadless headset, and is still producing cutting edge products like, the Double Barrel. Here is their new headset. King will have to step up now for sure:
Official sales pitch:
Our new 110 headset is the...
Curious about the painting. I would like to get my 08 painted when it comes in. Where did you get it done, and how did you find out it was a Specialized approved Powder coater?
MAN, wish I could come. I loved riding Wolf. I am giggin in Cali, or I would. Support this one guys. This would be a bada$$ place for a bike park. And only a short drive away too. Have fun this weekend!!!:happydance:
Hey man, what does yours weigh in at. I ma still deciding between the two forkds two. I've had the first generation Van 36, and I'm currently riding a 06 66RC2X. Can't decide if the stiffness and extra travel are worth the extra weight. This won't be my main DH rig, the demo 8 takes care of...
Wow, hot thread. Bottom line, I've seen the dyno charts on every coil DH shock out there except the Revox, and The adjustment range of the CCDB has about 40-50% wider adjustment range than all of them, giving you the ability to make it feel like whatever shock you want. While also giving you...
Hey man, you know this aappBling72 right. You know I'm not a dummy. Just voicing an opinion. Pretty harsh to judge anyone that bad even if they missed the mark in their attempt to promote Christ!
I meant the first guys. Come on, honest mistake. My point was that, although he was by far not the best example of christianity, it doesn't give those of us who are christians the right to cast the stones of judgement at him. None of us are perfect. I know I'm not, look at my mistake on...
Sounds like the ones with the hate are on this board. Even if you don't agree or like someone, to say the insanely ridiculous things said in this post really shows a great deal of immaturity. But, that's what the 2nd ammendment gives us.
JR, that thing is bling. If I ever sold my RFX, the SX is my first choice. The FSR and the CCDB are hands down soul mates. I love My Turner for the trail, but that SX of your's built a little lighter for trail duties for me is a very tempting setup. Have you seen my Trans Blue Demo 8? Man...
