with less engagment there is less drag in the hub so it will spin more freely. and yes aparently(i havent taken mine apart yet so i dont know for sure) you can take the 6 pawls and instead of running them offset you can line them up so 3 are engaged at the same time or somthing like that. but...

First impressions: DAMN they looked soooooo good :monkeydance: :cupidarrow: i got them with gold spokes, gold hubs and the dt6.1 hoops...
ive been riding on my dt 5.1s for about 2 months now ans have yet to have any problems, i haven noticed and dents yet and the are very stiff. that could be because theyre on industry nine hubs/spokes though, haha
i have a 2005 norco aline and i love it. the components that come with it are mid ranged as with any other bike in that price rage. you get what you pay for.

The I9 wheels have 120 poins of engagement using a 6 pawl system that engages ever 3 degrees. yes I9 does make everything in house and the wheels come with 4 extra spokes
ya i know in my rush to get my wheelset back together i kinda put it on the wrong way. im gunna fix it tomorrow.

and to answer your question maxyedor they are the stiffest and possibly(correct me somone if im wrong) lightest DH wheelset available...
