why the constant need for upgraded suspension?

I find it pretty natural that, in a competitive sport - like ours, where number 1 and 2 sometimes are divided by 0.1 sec, you will try out anything to improve bike/rider just a little bit... and changing parts on your bike is (for some) a lot easier than taking time off to actually ride and...

How long should you use tires before replacing?

How about michelin C24, they have been really great for me on hard, dusty tracks...

    Danish Downhill video.

This is a video one of my friends has made, just wanted to share it, even though it is not world class riding, i still think it is a pretty entertaining video! Mols, Fyn and Rude are tracks in Denmark, the video is filmed during the Danish Downhill Cup... it also includes footage from...

    Winterberg Germany, season is over

I love the fun park at winterberg, but i do spend most my time on the dh track, its soo cool with the lift system being so effective, you can do like 40+ runs in a day=)... The slopestyle contest that was held there in the middle of the summer was sick, very nice riding. Some of my friends from...

    Dh Bike?

All i can say is that i love my Commencal, i´ve ridden High Octane and VP-free before, and the Commencal has much much better suspension than any of the two! It is soo stable, i have both ridden it in normal/light conditions, heavy rocky tracks in northern sweden (Åre - top part and DH track)...

I need help setting up my Supreme DH

me too, i went from a 70mm Diabolus (15degree rise) with 2" Protapers to 50mm 0degree rise Thomson and 1.5" Easton Scandium, HUGE difference, much better handling now, at least for my riding style! It looks nice with the e.13, but i think i will stick with my 42t, i dont know how much it...

I need help setting up my Supreme DH

=) I remember my first ride like it was tomorrow, i was SOO stoked about the sick amont of traction the rear end has, i come from a VP Free, where my 05 888rc (170) front end would be the one with most grip, now its the other way around, i was thinking about getting the BOS 888 kit, but 600£ is...

I need help setting up my Supreme DH

My bike=)=) I run a 42t chainring, in that way the chain is in line with the pivot, i have been very happy with the roox/commencal chaindevice it comes with, of cause would it be nice with a bash guard, but the current setup motivates you not to run into things (too much) =) I am :biggrin...

    Best Riding Shoe (Flat)

I love my 5.10´s, as said, they grip like crazy... also i think they offer alot better protection than vans-rowley (wich i have used for the last 3 years), especialy when you bang your feet/toes on rocks... but i think that it indeed is a very different thing than riding with "normal"...

    Åre Mountain Mayhem

Any of you guys comming this year?? I think we are 8-12 guys from Denmark comming! To those of you that has not been there yet, it is realy a cool experience, i think last year there was 900 people the whole week (its a small town), with lots of good vibes and very cool riding, and a good race...

    12mm Rohloff

I´m pretty sure that they only make them for normal dropouts!, its a damn shame that they do not make a 135/150X12mm with a rapidfire shifter:drool: ... One "bad" thing about Rohloff hubs, according to one of my friends that have REALY abused one, is that it has very few engagement points in...

    different DH brakes?

I have used juicy 7 for the last season, and i am very very happy with them, i switched to XT rotors to avoid the "pulsing" sensation when you brake hard and long, but other than that it is a very good and reliable brake, but i think the juicy 5 has a mugh higher value, as you never use the...

    What's a good inverted fork?

Best is i pretty wierd term to use about a fork... if you like realy non-stiff forks that give a slack HA, then the Shivers are the best.. if you lilke very stiff forks that (compared to shivers) give a more steep HA, then White Brothers 2.0/1.8, Fox 40, Dorado´s are the way to go. I have never...

    new 888 tuning thingy

yes... but they also almost only review very high-end parts, but i agree that they are too happy with everything they review! Back to the tuning kit - as i see it; This is the ultimate tuning kit for a fork, i would go as far as saying that it might "perform" better than a Fox 40, in terms og...

    new 888 tuning thingy

Dirt magazine (UK) have a review of them in the newest issue! They are very happy with them! But considering the cost of the BOS kit compared to a brand new Fox 40, it seems kinda stupid!
