The stuff used in Citroen and RollsRoyce cars is the same as Magura only a lot cheaper-its called LHM fluid. DO NOT use Dot fluids.

Chris King headset bearings in powdercoat oven

Righto-the headset is in a Brooklyn Racelink, it was put there by the PO, the headtube was prepped to accept it. Im an engineer-in my world of KISS, removing the cups is a no-no, hence the Q of either removing the bearings or leaving them in place but washing the grease out. I'll ring the UK...

Chris King headset bearings in powdercoat oven

yeah thats all thats stopping me, pure lazyness....... The cups are 1" deep, once in-they stay in-it'd be easier to remove the bearings from the cups. A standard aluminium King then yeah no problem I'd remove it but its a Steelset. The cups were to be masked off to avoid overspray. The frame...

oakley hydrophobic lens treatment, anyone tried them?

RainX only works on glass where it etches into the surface, for anti fog-just give the inside of the lens a wipe over with Fairy liquid (UK dish washer liquid), helps keep em fog free.

XT four pots, how do they compare to todays brakes? and a good choice for a RaceLink?

Im building up an Avy fork equipped Brooklyn RaceLink-and I weigh 90kg's-200lbs approx. Im looking for something that will slow my weighty bike down in the mud and slop of Ft William thru to the sun and mountains of France. Being from the UK Hope brakes are the obvious choice especially...
