Hi guys,
We just had a bike stolen from Kirkland Bicycle. It's a custom built Giant STP. Atomlab wheels, Rock Shox fork, Halo skin wall tires, atomlab cranks, single speed.
Huge ass reward if anyone comes across it. Thanks.
Hello
Santa Cruz Bicycles will be at Duthie Hill demoing bikes this Sat with Kirkland Bikes (and Sunday with Veloce Velo) from 11am-4pm. We have size runs of Butchers Nickels, carbon Nomads, LT's and XC's as well as Tallboy's. We have one XS Juliana, one Med. Driver 8 and one large V-10...
Kirt has been out but he will be in attendance on Sunday.
I will try to post directions soon. Does anyone quicker and smarter than me have good directions from I5? Thanks a lot.
Montlake Bikes and Kirkland Bikes is hosting Kirt at South Seatac this Sunday June 8th from 11am until 7pm. He will have a trailer full of Santa Cruz bikes and other goodies to show off.
The gate will be open so you can park in the field. To demo bikes all you need is a picture I.D. and...
So I am going up to Fromme on the 14th and was wondering what everybodies favorite trails are. I have been there once and rode Espresso and Ladies only.
Right now i'm thinking of riding up to 7th Secret and linking into Espresso and then heading back up to maybe Ladies only or something...
I agree that St. Ed's doesn't have much to offer Kirt but we needed something close by and he will be demoing the whole line of bikes not just the big stuff.
Also you need permits for this kind of thing and St. Ed's was willing and easy to deal with.
Hope to see you there.
Hey Guys,
Kirt is bringing a van load of Santa Cruz's and goodies to St. Edward Park on Friday June 8th from 3 til Dark. We'll be set up back by the school in the Bastyr entrance.
Come test all the new SC models, ride with Kirt and get some free crap!
Hope to see you there,
Josh @...
Damn, I thought this thread was going to be about building a trail as cool as Whistler's "River runs through it" at Tiger.
For what it's worth trail maintenance IS cool no matter what some dumb A$$hole has to say. Without out it you don't ride. Pretty simple.
A stock XT Nomad with the 36 from SC weighs 32 lbs (no pedals). That's damn light for a 6.5" bike but I guess it really depends on what kind of riding your doing.
For trail riding and the occasional Whistler and North Shore trip I have my Heckler built at 32 to 34 lbs depending on tires...
I am assuming Chris King never followed through with ISIS because he realized that the oversized axle did not leave enough room for a bearing that would last more than a month or two. Too bad none of us realized it until it was too late. Remember how long UN-72's lasted?
I'm with those...
I heard the Gracia was performing and passing it's latest tests at Cannondale. The bad news is they still do not know if Cedric will be with them next year. Cannondale Gracias?
Death, taxes and Norcos lookin the same every year. I hear they might go with Marzocchi forks and Fsr suspension in '07!
Good bikes, but I can't help pointin out the obvious.
