I am going to be moving there this coming summer for a little while and instead of playing the same old game of hitting up all of the local bike shops and getting bad information/the run around, I am looking for help from the RM's.
Mikey
Thanks for spearheading the second rebuilding day of the Dual Slalom
course at Sandhill. Spoke to Weaver and it sounds like it turned out great with use of the tractor.
I suck/you rule.
Sorry about it, Mikey
But, I got the final word and I gotta work on Saturday from 9:30- 4:30 up here.
If you guys are going to make it a two day dig like last time call me up.
Kelly
Hey Weave,
I can't find one of those packer things anywhere. I 'll look again tomorrow on the way down at the HomeDepot in Stockton and if not there in the OSH in Brentwood. I think that it is over near Pee Wee Muldoons.
Let me know of anything else
Kelly
Cool cool,
The more people the better.
I will be there both days for sure, barring any rain. I have the usual spade and flat shovels, but I don't have any rakes, And if anyone has one of those Packer/tamper things, bring that. They are worth their weight in titanium.
I am not too sure about...
hey all
I spoke to Sara two minutes ago and she said the Heath is coming home today.
Damn good news...
Thanks to all your good vibes, prayers, charma, etc... that was sent out to this fallen brutha. :thumb:
He still has a soft C-collar on and for his neck and a Erector-set back brace...
I used like to make fun of products like this, than I actually got to try one. I tried the cheaper version, it just had a spring-loaded pull knob to release the seat verses the bar mounted remote lever, and it worked just like it was supposed to.
No more stopping to lower the seat with a wrench...
That was cool as hell. Good footage
and that guy's wrist was hangin' off off at a weird angle. yuk
And big ups to the Schwinn Varsity guy... it proves that it's not what you have it is what you do with it...within reason of course.
But again, very nicely done
That suspension design is amazing, the graphics are alright on the main frame, and Great on the swing arm.
The only trouble that I foresee is with shifting. The distance between the rear der. hanger and the rear axle is too great. As with the YETI's and Schwinn's, if the der, hanger was closer...
I will be working in Emeryville all this week and I am in search of some Decent DJ trails for some post-work sessions. Or even any slalom trails or similiar stuff like that. Ya know...
If any one knows, it would save me all kinds of time going to bike shops and running that drag.
Kelly
The bike was some sort of BANSHEE Scream. I looked lighter though, the jump sequence was, sweet, back flip; double heal clicker and whip... tough to beat..
There is no way in HELL that this is SANE. It is a BICYCLE for all that is wholly. If there is anyone that thinks this price is OKAY, you are really missing the point.
I ride big DH because because it is, or was a cheap alternative to motor-cross racing, now it is close to surpassing that...
Weave, if you go to Phil and Renee's site and them to results and then down the page a bunch this link show up. (www.mvracing.org) You have to find the picture/video section and go to sand hill something and you will see the mudfest.
I have no clue how I found it.
