Yeah, sounds like my bike in that respect. I run a dirt jam pro, and i would get a sherman, but i honestly cant justify it when my dirt jam isnt giving me any real problems. I also run it at 65 psi.
Sick bike. Personally, id go for a front brake as well, but that is just me.
If you had the money, i'd suggest a sherman jumper, but if not then dont worry about it. Oh, and no offence dude, but I think 12 pictures was a little bit on the excessive side.
Hi,
my friend wants to get a new fork, as his (manitou splice) is dieing like a penguin in a place where a penguin would die really quickly. Such as a desert, or some such similar place.
Anyway, that aside, he was considering a rock shox pike up untill now (which i think was his best choice)...
Hey,
I was wondering if chainrings for shimano cranksets would be able to be fit on say, a truvative crankset and vice versa. See, my predicament is that im getting a proper ss kit (sick of chain skipping and strange noises) and it only comes in 16 or 18t models, and i run a 32-14 ratio and...
Hey,
My hayes mechanicals are starting to squeak on and off. I was wondering if there is anything i can do to stop this noise or if it is an innevitable part of hayes brake systems. I know avids are better and all that **** but i cant afford new brakes and probably wont be able to justify...
Oh... well, i guess if rock shox make it, and sell it with the purpose of a freeride type application, then it must be strong, especially if its the top of the line model.
So go for it and have fun on your new fork.
Unless you are some super hack, the pike should take the abuse. Pike's are freekin' awesome. I dunno about the race coz it only has an aluminium steerer tube, then again, so do some downhill forks. So it should be fine!
Hey,
I have searched and found nothing really relating to my problem. I was practicing my hops today using my backpack to hop over, and i was lying it down on its side, about 40 cm high, and i was clearing it easily with my front wheel, but my back wheel would hit it because it seemed it was...
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but why are you upgrading. In my humble, non super-gnar core hucker opinion, the hussafelts cope well with most downhill applications. Is there something so wrong with saving money and riding till it breaks?
I cant believe no-body has mentioned Gnar-core urban downhill freeride tricycle super hucking. Its the next big thing, im telling you.
Here is one of the less gnar-core riders practicing his hucking skills:
I had my first stack today since i converted my dj/urban bike to single. The bike was absolutely fine. I went off a high-ish curb and tried to land into a little manual kinda thing. I took it a little "to the extreme" and went over the back of the bike hahaha. Needless to say i ignored my...
I will second that notion. What the hell was that all about?
But hmm, the p-street doesnt look great. Personally i would but a p1 cromo, buy a new fork and some avid bb-5's and then your laughing! Kickass street bike like hell!
