Thanks all. Seems the box dimensions are beyond the maximum allowed for Canada Post. Hoping he might be able to find a frame box. I'm only an hour from the boarder so also considering shipping to a UPS store in Canada and driving up to grab it. Kind of a PITA though..
Anyone ever ship a bike from Canada to the US? I'm trying to get a straight answer from UPS on what determines taxes/duties/brokerage fees and have yet to get much back from them. After being on hold for awhile yesterday, UPS told me that anything under $800 will not be taxed etc. I really want...
I used to get cramping in my feet after long descents w/ Sidi's. Ditched the Sidi's and run the TIME platform MX8's now with no issues. They have a bit more float then other pedals and are super durable. You can find the TIME's pretty cheap online as another +
Do you notice it more from the rear? I've never had my 820's go to the bar but definitely have had some weird lever throw starting into a few high speed bermed corners. Never from the front though.
Rode a 14' Slash 9.8 all season and switched to the remedy 14' 9.8 last week. Took the stock build off and added a Pike@160, xx1 and carbon wheels. I was nervous about the transition since we were planning on riding the whole enchilada in Moab on Sunday but I was absolutely blown away by how...
I still stick w/ my 661 Core Saver. Back, chest and shoulder protection with a kidney belt. I don't find it very bulky and still gives my arms 100% ROM.
Are you kidding? Almost every rider was loving the MSA track + the changes they made. It's long, fast, rough and proves who's got the best all around fitness and skill. Better then sending WC riders to the middle of nowhere to ride in a snake infested mud pit.
Sugarbush warrants a big bike, Killington does not IMO. Both fun but Sugarbush has some great fall line berms and classic steep fast VT tech. Can't wait to ride there in August.
Picking up my new shock today! 8.25 x 2.35 Monarch Plus Debonair. Not sure the mounting hardware will be the same but I'll find out. QBP now has them in stock. Ride review after a few days in the Tetons this weekend.
I'm also interested. I have a 2014 Slash 9 and the push reducer still isn't doing it. Hoping they have something so I don't have to do the MTBR hack job on Ti mounting bolts.
The new 661 Rage pads are pretty dialed. I gave up on Elbow pads a few years ago but wore these for a Whistler trip last year. I barely noticed that I was wearing them all day and they never slipped once. They offer a hard and soft version but after seeing both in person I opt for the hard...
Drafter, Amp 12, Amp 18 and Amp 25 have the suspended mesh back panel that was introduced last year. Nomad back panel stayed the same for 2014 and the Apex got a new back panel this year. Lots of new packs coming out from Dakine for 2015. The Amp 18 is a rad pack and features the new back panel...
