Ciaran, thanks for the info!
Dave, yeah I rode with you in SB a few years back. Are you talking about Santiago Oaks Regional Park in Orange? I'd be down for riding Saturday afternoon. Let me know here or I will give you a call some time Friday evening.
I will likely be bringing my mountain bike down to my fiancee's parent's house this weekend in Hacienda Heights. I was thinking about just riding around at Turnbull Canyon. I have ridden my road bike a lot in the area, but never been on the trails. Anyone have any other suggestions on where...
That bike looks sweet! I just picked up a prophet mx (wihout the rear shock) that I am going to build as my do-it-all bike. I am trying to decide between the dhx coil or air. I plan on doing a lot of climbing but I want something that can handle our rocky trails when going down.
On another...
I second what narlus and westy said. It seems very insulting to women. My girlfriend can make up her own mind when I ask her. If her parents approve, then great, if not, oh well.
Yeah, I called my friend who has been to the Ventura Theater a # of times and seen Bad Religion there, and he said the ear plug were not really necessarry. I will definitely have them with me next time. The noise has finally gone away.
Now I am itching to see a good reggae concert. Steel...
Not a big fan of that and some of their newer stuff, but I like a lot of the songs from the early to mid 90's.
My ears are still screwed up, that can't be good.
I just got back from seeing Bad Religion play. My girlfriend got me tickets for graduation. Damn they put on a great show. I was very impressed. I have been a fan since jr. high, but this was the first time I have seen them. Street Dogs (from Boston I believe), despite the awful name...
Probably not the best idea to hold it during graduation weekend for UCSB if they want out of towners.
Wish I could have gone, but the whole grad thing wasn't too bad. I am done! Hopefully next year.
The trail was fun when I went up there a while ago. I thought it had a lot of potential. Haven't been back in a while, hell I haven't even thrown a leg over the mountain bike in months. I just hiked straight up the trail after riding it a bunch of times, good little work out.

Yeah I am graduating. Thanks. I am only going to the ceremony for the family and my girlfriend. Spending the day at the bike festival sounds a lot more fun. I just want to go out to eat and hit the bars. Oh well, I hope it is a success and continues.
After seeing the S.C. and the Intense I am getting the new bike itch, both bikes look like they are intended for the type of riding I do. I think the S.C. looks pretty good, especially in white.
