I remember seeing 03/04 kona stinkys still going for $1200+ up until 2010/11. They were super popular when "freeride" got going, but its absurd that a bike could go for that much 7 years later when they were $1600 new. Same for the bullit, now when i see them for sale at $750 my first reaction...
With four dominant manufacturers mx has the most-least drama when this happens. It was really edge of the seat anticipation to see who he would ride for next....
Sad but true. But its easier to say no bikes, or bikes must use sidewalk than to educate a nation on patience and safety. Restricting bike use may seem like a step in the wrong direction, but i think its obvious which solution will result in less loss of life.
I had the same thought in my first year or so of college when i was blasted with dumb gen ed classes. The only info that stuck with me from those classes is the same amount of info i can get from wikipedia. But its really not the case, and its kind of a silly claim. We do have access to...
K-12 is good, with exception of unmotivated tenures. My wife is an elem teacher in an urban district, the level of expectation is much higher now. Its the parents, not the school for the most part. In the urban setting parents don't get involved unless the school does something wrong, then they...
Its prime use and functionality has come and gone. It actually used to be useful when it was college network only. Now its full of millions of spammers and inactive profiles. Its myspace v2 now that more ads and apps will surely be on the way.

Out of curiosity...how would you go about picking the stocks? Buy and wait for news on one of them? Pump and dumps? When you do this on paper, are you looking at volume? Some of the low floaters can make huge % moves but would have been impossible to trade in real life due to low volume.
You mean makes it $1 then gets dumped by the pumpers leaving everyone else bag holding an illiquid stock back at .001. ;) Huge position sizes and difficult executions make that easier said than done.
OTC land has been good lately though, the better pump and dump promoters have been bringing...
I actually like when old photos and status's come up with the "on this day a year ago" feature. The complainers should not post sensitive information, or perhaps not use facebook in the first place. Its not a psychic...
I day/swing trade. Learn a strategy and stick to it. I day trade stocks $1-5 that run at the open and am usually out within minutes. Also using a strategy that focuses on a few repeatable chart patterns that i swing for a few days at the most.
