My front shifter cracked and I sent it away to get replaced (one of the only legitamate warante issues I've had, I didn't hit it on anything) and sram claimed I crashed it even though there isn't any sign of it hitting anything whatsoever it looks bran new. As a result I just have mine set to...
Hes talking about the front derailer. It hits the rear chainstay. I haven't found a way to fix this on mine becuase if I lift it up then the chain is pulled up by the derailer when your on the granny gear. It actually wore away part of my cable cover for the rear derailer becuase it passes right...
yea I love my 7p5 its great. The only thing I'm planning on upgrading in the near future is hopefully some hope mono4's. I dont much care for the hfx9's.
I dont have any problems with the washer or c clip since I flattened them out. This is the first time its happened to me and although they pop out alot its easy to get them back in my problem is just the piston getting jammed this time and I think its pretty uncommon. If I have to buy any parts...
How do I get the old one out? If I remove the clip ring and washer and pull out the rod that pushes the piston I will be able to see it but since it wont spring back how do I get it to come out?
I guess this probably means I'l have to buy a bleed kit too
I searched but couldn't find anything for this.
I had a pretty hard crash yesterday and managed to rip the lever outwards on my hfx-9 rear. The washer and snap ring were bent pretty bad since the ball that pushes the plunger back came right out. The owner of the hill grinded a pair of needle...
most of the 7points and sundays (if not all) got shipped with improper valving on the rear shocks. Its a quick fix to send it away and get fixed but it does suck paying for the shipping.
I dont know what you have against the sherman breakout plus its a great fork for me it would be no contest.
Everytime you take a drop or catch big air your feeling zero g's until you land. Obviously in motocross they get rediculous air and so have a longer sensation of weightlessness. Sometimes when you bike you go into a depression that curves up pretty fast and you have a hard time keeping your head...
I dont know what exactly your worried about. Do you think at 125 lbs your going to break a hub? you will probably break before the hub does, and if it does replace it.
I dont know about the shock. I was thinking about getting that bike and putting a sherman breakout plus on it once but I...
I have the 7point5 but all I can tell you from that is that the frame is good. Deffinetly replace that fork on the 7point3.
If it was me I'd just replace the fork then replace other parts if or when they break. its not like your going to make much money back selling the old hubs.
Thats...
when I got mine back it was wayyyy better. It took just over a week for me to get it back since I'm in canada but it was worth the wait. Only missed one weekend.
The cable for the rear derailer comes accross the chainstay and goes accross/through the front gears and up to the shifter. The chain doesn't hit the cable but whenever I hit hard and get low down on my suspension the bottom of my front derailer pushes against the cable and its worn through the...
I actually had the same problem with the 7point5. The rear derailer cable kept poping up by the driveshaft when I was riding and getting caught in the chain and sprocket. I've since modified it a bit with nylon straps to force it down there but after like 2 rides before I did that the cable...
Also if I'm supposed to contact progressive, how do I get ahold of them? I checked out their website and they have two US places listed for service, do I contact one of those or do I contact the warrantee/service place listed in vancouver? (I'm in BC)
