Where are the "light" urban assult hardtails at?

Apparently that was a pricing error. I ordered one and they told me that I got lucky. They honored their mistake, which was pretty cool of them. The price is now $419. You guys can blame me for the loss of a good deal if you want. They are listed for $329 at www.rhythmcycles.com, though.

    Where's bike park at?

There is also Angelfire in northern New Mexico. It's about an hour and a half north of Santa Fe. I guess it depends on whether you are traveling along I-10 or I-40

    24 inches of love

That's pretty much what I was looking to hear. I like the Gimp, but I'm with you on the chainstay length. 17" is a bit long. I ride a little bit of trials (I'm a beginner) and I like the nimble feel of 15" chainstays. I guess I know where my tax return will be spent. I like the "Landing...

    Wich 24" rim?

I've got 26" BFR's on my bike and I haven't had any issues with Maxxis Holy Rollers. I keep the tire pressure at max. Maybe that helps to keep them from rolling. I'm not sure if a 24" rim would make a difference in that respect. I know that Atomlab makes a 48 hole Trailpimp for 20"...

    24 inches of love

I've been meaning to ask. How does this bike compare to the On One that you had? I've got a Gimp for street/park stuff, but I'm considering getting a Fall Guy to replace it in the future. I'm the same height as you, so you seem like a good guy to ask. Also, does anyone know of a 24" 48...

    Roughrider Canyon 40ftr..

Brutal is a good word. I've ridden alot of downhill/freeride trails in other areas and this is easily the most intimidating riding I've done. The "sport" race course would be at least a black diamond at any ski resort. That is about as easy as it gets out here. It is fun, though (or funn).

    Working Out

QUOTE]Yeah I've been modifying my diet over the past few weeks but I'm not doing very good. Making that big of a lifestyle change is difficult. It is even more difficult to change everything at once (ie exercise and diet). Take it slowly. Once you get used to the exercise, start making...

    24 inches of love

I'm interested to hear how this works out. I'm thinking about doing the exact same thing. I like my Gimp, but I think I would like the feel of the super short chainstays on the Fall Guy. If you could post a comparison of how the two bikes ride, that would be cool.

    Roughrider Festival 05'

Bump to the top. This will be a good time for anybody who wants to do a weekend road trip or is within driving distance of El Paso. Send mountaingoat a pm or email for more info or check out www.roughriderracing.org.

    Simtra bikes

Your menu is a bit confusing. It took me a couple of minutes to realize that the dots were actual links to different parts of your site. It doesn't look like anything at first glance. Maybe that was the problem. Your frames do look pretty cool. The BnB looks interesting.

IBIS Trials Comp 88/87...a plead for parts

I've actually got an old set of HS-22's that I could part with. I'm currently moving, so I can't get to them for roughly a week. The lines need to be replaced, but they should still work. If you send me a couple bucks for shipping, they are yours. I've also got a set of cheap riser bars that...

Best places to ride in New Mexico

You can't move here. If you do, I won't be the only guy with a Transition anymore. Ok, just kidding. I moved to Las Cruces, NM roughly 8 months ago. There is a little bit of everything around here. It's mostly xc/trail riding, but there are a few of us building some more technical...

Big rider looking for big bike...

I'll second the vote on the Dirtbag. I've had one for about a year and a half now. I'm 6'2" and weigh 250 lbs. (was pushing 280 for a while). I have yet to have any problems. I don't notice any significant flex or anything along those lines. With the Dangerboy plates, there is a 6" or 7"...

    Cloudcroft Playday Aug.13/14 05

I haven't ridden any of the trails at the ski resort, but they do have a downhill race there every year that everyone seems to like. The shuttle run starts in Cloudcroft on some nice and fast forest singletrack and ends up on exposed, rocky desert trails in Alamogordo. It's about 18 miles of...

hussefelt crank sleeve coming out with pedal?

I had the same problem. I wish I had checked into the warranty thing. It would have been cool to get a brand new set of Holzfellers. I used some JB Weld on the threads and I didn't have any problems after that.

Cloudcroft, NM play day (x-post from Texas board)

In case nobody from here checks the Central US/Texas board, the lifts may be operating in Cloudcroft, NM the weekend of Aug. 13. Here is a link to the original post: http://www.ridemonkey.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1688625 I don't know the specifics, so contact Jamie (mountaingoat) at...

    Cloudcroft Playday Aug.13/14 05

You know I'm down for some riding in Cloudcroft. I will have my revenge on that cactus. JDubb - I haven't been out there yet, but there is supposed to be some good xc stuff off of Redd Rd. There is some riding up in Dona Ana probably a half hour or so away from you. If you are looking to...

So, i want to ge tin shape...

I feel your pain. I'm 6'2" and have been over 270 lbs. for far too long (it sucks having to exhale to tie my shoes). I recently decided that I needed to lose all of the unnecessary fat that has been plauging my body for so long. Here are a few websites/books on exercise that I've found very...

The Episode III thread, geeks unite

That is exactly why I don't understand why so many people are upset with how "bad" Episode 1 and 2 were. It's not like the Star Wars movies ever had any real depth. It's basic good vs. evil with cool special effects. It always has been. It's like people were expecting George Lucas to...
