Good to know. Worst case scenario I could probably just add a zip tie to high stress attachment points. It would look kinda janky, but better than the alternative.
Nice find, I hadn't seen that option. Easy to forget about this brand for some reason.
Good looking bike! Looks like you went for a frame up build? Any reason you routed the brake line along the top tube rather than the down tube?
The Madonna looks amazing, I love the aesthetic and design ethos. Think it would acutally work to long stroke it? No idea what clearance is like at bottom out on those. But if Raw made a 180mm+ bike I would buy it right now.
My buddy has the One.2 and loves it. His is too big for me, but I...
Lately I've been doing a lot of brake swapping, so internal routing would have been a nightmare. Also, my current magura brakes are much easier to bleed if you can remove the rear caliper and have room to move it up/down a bit. I just see no real benefit to internal routing, only headaches...
The clash does look sick, but I'm thinking 170mm in the rear is just a bit short for a dedicated park bike. My trail bike is 150, so too close I think. If the furious could fit a dropper I'd be all over that.
Pretty sure the supreme can't fit a dropper?
The new specialized/trek rigs are pretty...
As the title says, does anyone have recommendations for a DH/park frame (or anything 180mm+) that meets this criteria? Not made in Asia is also a plus, but not mandatory. Don't really care either way about wheel size. This will be used exclusively for park/shuttle riding, but no racing, so it...
I will definitely agree that the Sram derailleur catch is awesome. Don't know why Shimano hasn't adopted something similar.
At least you can rebuild a Shimano clutch easily and without voiding any warranty. I called Sram about fixing/modifying my clutch, and they said if I so much as touched...
Sorry, I misinterpreted. I went through 2 X01 derailleurs- both had excessive pivot play, warped cages/bodies, and knuckle bolts that wouldn't stay in the housing (the little clip kept coming off, which caused the entire thing to disassemble when you removed the der from the hanger). Not to...
Another (non-lizard approved) option:
Run an 11sp Sram shifter with an 11sp Shimano derailleur. The pull ratios are *nearly* identical (I think the difference ends up being 0.1mm over the entire cassette range).
I had poor durability with my 11sp sram derailleurs, and the clutch system sucks...
Wanted to update this thread with potentially useful info for those in a similar situation:
I ended up buying a lightly used Formula Nero C off PB. This fork is fantastic- extremely low stiction, really irons out bikepark chatter, easy to tune, and has a nice ramp up for a coil fork. Pretty...
Looks like the MST is a no-go for those of us in the US. Just heard back from the dude that he doesn't ship over here- bummer.
It's looking like AVA time. Or possible Ohlins drop in TTX18 damper? Though it's more expensive and not custom tuned, so not especially attractive.
Thanks for mentioning these, I had no idea they existed. That MST cartridge looks particularly interesting, especially since it's roughly half the cost of an AVA.

I'm in the US, wonder if they ship over here? Will have to email them next week.
Avalanche'd Boxxer Team might be the best bet. Where are you finding AVA carts for $100 though? I priced one last night on his site and it was ~$500.
Looks cool, price is up there though.
I thought for sure the Bartlett would have a coil option, it would make perfect sense and be the right fit for this bike. Oh well.
That's good to know, I'm less of tinkerer than many on here but it's good to have backup options.
I only found the dual spring/damper conversion for $400, which...
That's my concern. Don't want to end up with something totally unsupported in a few years.
Have you heard anything about the ride quality of that fork?
I did ask the question, and that one technically checks all the boxes ...
Used is an option, though the fork I'm replacing is a used one...
Forgot about X-Fusion- I've had mixed luck with them in the past. It looks like Ebay is the only place to find that fork these days, I guess they are falling off the radar?
I've haven't really been keeping up with DH fork options for a few years.
Since there are quite a few single crown coil sprung options currently available, I assumed coil sprung dual crowns were still a thing. Evidently not. The only off the shelf option I can find is the Formula Nero C, and I...
To be fair, the 30/34 oval ring still pulls the same length of chain per revolution as the 32 round, so the effective gear ratio after each full rotation remains the same.
