A few friends and I usually meet up around 5 at the park and ride near UMBC on Wednesdays. If you are ever out there early, you should come by. I've got a toyota solara and a steel grey cannondale F400 (yeah it's not just a clever screenname).

I'm actually in Elkridge, from Annapolis originally. I haven't discovered the joys of urban riding yet, but one of these days...
Torino was sick, skiing in the alps was f'in amazing... if you can shred a blue there, you can do anything in the US. Don't want to go too OT, so I'll make a...
Great looking build man! Can't wait to get out with you guys this season, hopefully on a new full suspension ;)
Any word on that demo day? I'm leaving tomorrow for Torino, be back for a week Mar 3-12, out in Harrisonburg until early April, but I'll come back for the demo if it's on the...
Well, I'm not dt, but I'm in IT. I work at fort Meade. We get out there for lunch sometimes. Do you ride around here, or further up toward fredneck?
John
Actually they're doing some heavy construction over there right now, so I think it's pretty much gridlock all the time :( It might be easier to take 395 or whatever and go through town to New York and pick up Rt 50 E from there to get back out onto the beltway.
Sounds good Ryan, I should be able to make it tomorrow if the weather holds out... it's been pretty crappy these past few days :(
By the way, you guys ever head out to the western MD parts? A guy from work just went to a triathalon at Rocky Gap where the biking part was mountain biking. He...
Hey did anyone notice the work they've been doing on ridge trail (I say "they've" since I don't know who "they" really are)? I was out there Thursday and it looks like they added a good couple hundred yards as an "alternative" route along the path. It looked really nice, right up until I got...
SBC helped out a lot with finding trails and such. A friend of mine, Pete, took me to Mud Pond, which was a lot of fun and a decent climb. Next week when I'm out there, we're going to Reddish Knob and maybe Boyscout... Looking forward to it.

Good ride today guys, thanks for waiting up :thumb:
I'll be out of town next Sunday, but I'll try to hook up with you the following week.
Ryan - Expect a visit about clipless pedals sometime soon.

Hey all, I'm going to be in Harrisonburg for business the next two weeks (starting Tuesday). I hear that Mud Pond and Reddish Knob (I guess that is the name?) are both nice rides, any input?
I'm an intermediate rider, more aggressive XC than downhill really... Looking for something fun...
I was just at Wisp a couple weeks ago. Besides not having their lifts operational yet ("Like, they're SERIOUSLY F@$^ED, bro" according to their leading repairman), the DH was uninspiring. There was, however, a good amount of XC to be had at Swallow Falls if that's your game.

I was doing a google search for Elizabeth Furnace since I've seen people on the board talking about it, and trails.com was one of the websites that had reviews, etc. I don't know what the subscription cost is and I know they say there's a 14 day free trial, but I don't trust them. Anyone tried...
Hey Ryan, which trails do you guys normally cover? Do you have a set route or just wing it? I usually ride in via the park and ride, hit the paved trail via Vineyard Spring trail and bike over to do Ridge Trail by way of the waterfall (I think that's Cascade Falls trail?). All in all it's...
