Hit a jump that will get you more than 2.5 feet of air... trust me, it's more fun.
haha... just kidding.
You can ride more and practice bunny hopping more to build stregnth. But what i would do is go to the gym and build some lower and upper body stregnth. I actually think lower is more...
888 all the way. I've always liked the feel of my 888 more than any boxxer that i've felt, and I just trust a marzocchi more too. External adjustments are nice too. I've been riding my '05 888 really hard for a year and a half now and i haven't had any problems at all.
'05 888 at 7" will be...
Why does everyone always order people to do stuff to their bike? He probably likes the seat right where it is, and he's got a brake on it because he likes that there too.
Anyway.... nice bike man. Looks real clean. I've actually seriously considering getting a BMX to play around on while...
All music is repetitious. It's part of music. Every song has a main theme or melody that is repeated at least once throught the song... try and name one that doesn't.
Don't put down things you don't understand. Most of the "normal" music such as rock is shallow, and poorly written in...
You could not be running enough spring preload. If you set up too much sag on those bikes then they're past the platform that the linkage can provide. With the proper amount of sag, it should pedal better than your bullit. I had a bullit before my vp-free too.
I've played with this by running...
In therory, it should work... but I don't think i'd trust that.
A tensioner seems like it'd be a much more reliable, stable way to put tension on your chain.
If you have decent welds, it shouldn't break right along the weld. It should break right above it. Welds are usually stronger than the tubing... unless you have extremely thick walled tubing. That would make it hard to weld though and you don't want a 12 lb hardtail frame.
All i can say is just...
the imperial is a 6 lb frame... pretty moderate for a street rig. And i won't deny that it's pricey. But it seemed right up your alley for the versatility. But i guess manhattanprjkt83 is right... if you're not really that tech with street/dirt jump, the double might be a good option.
I'd look at the evil imperial or the transition vagrant. The double seems like it wouldn't be good at the trails/lift park access that you're talking about. I saw that you already have a DH/freeride bike, so i'd keep a hardtail around if i were you. Plus, a freeride hardtail like the imperial or...
that seems like a really good idea. It's pretty hard to find dirt jumps in some areas a lot of the time... But a lot of people arn't willing to post their local spot like that. They like to keep it mostly a secret to keep the traffic low.
that's me on the rock in the picture... I miss that bike sometimes.
I don't know if you guys are talking about the same lady... but last time we were up there (when the pic was taken) that lady chased us down on horseback, yelled at us, and told us to get off.... maybe we took the wrong trails...
