Where's this so called DH section of bootcamp? With downhill racing spectators are allowed anywhere on the hill to view as long as they are not on the course. When they did the XC races at South Seatac I believe you could also watch from anywhere.
I'm unsure what the parking situation is like close to the coal carts so I'm of no help there. I usually park down the street just a little bit up the road from 288th. I find it easier to park there and seem to never have any issues with getting in and out. If you do have issues parking up by...
Park over by the coal kart off of 169 about a 1.5 miles past 4 corners. Across the street from parking lot is a gate. Go through there and take the second left. Follow that until you get to top of trails. Please don't do any work unless the builders are there. Enjoy
With the weather the way it is I bet it's greasy. Wait until the weekend when it's supposed to be slight better out. There's a work party on Saturday so bring a shovel.
I have a feeling we dug together out there before so come out this weekend and help throw more dirt around. If you liked it before you should like it again. Yeah it's not the size of Duthie or the steep gnar of other spots but still worth it to come and play in the dirt. Lots of awesome work...
If you park at the Coal Cart at Black Diamond, cross the street and stay on the gravel road, take your 2nd left and go down a little ways until you see the trails. Can't miss them.
Not all of the homeless are bad. I spend a lot of time working on the south end of the park and talk with most of the homeless individuals that live just past the parking lot. They have never given me a hard time and have actually sat and watched the riders come fly by. Times are bad but...
I blow up a 5th Element just recently and need to replace it before this weekend. Anyone have 1 and willing to part with it? The eye-to-eye is 8.75 by 2.75 stroke.
