Clay: Marijuana dealing is not always a victimless crime. If the weed is brought over the border, trafficked by cartels, then does the dealer and the final consumers not bare some responsibility if innocent people are killed in Mexico, South America, etc as a result of the growing/smuggling...
My response was based on an assumption that the worlds selection process will place emphasis on the national series. However, because everything is changing this year, you should listen to Dylan Dean, he seems to know what up. I'm just making my best guess.
These races show usac that you are serious. If you race juniorX and place well , you may be considered for the worlds team or to represent the USA in any other races. Good results in this series will mean more if you want to move up to Elite. Basically, these races will put more pressure on...
Ummm Kyle Strait had better or equal results to all the team america riders. And he finished 24th at Maribor which is better than Team America's best WC result.
Yeah thats probably the way to go. Contrary to what a previous poster said Diablo has an awesome mix of rocks and jumps. Its neither super gnarly (except for maybe 1 or 2 spots) or super jump infested but it has variety. Plus you can really lap it out. It is also open every day for some time...
I would ride diablo for sure. But drive 9 hours to race there, definitely not. If you have already raced the shoe and massanutten then I would hit a bunch of different races. The gravity east races are always fun. I would look to ride the more southern races in the series and maybe a few...
Thanks, that makes sense. Now that leads me to a follow up question. Is there anyway to run a chainguide with a spanish bb if the bike has no iscg mounts? Essentially, is it possible to use an iscg adapter plate with this setup? Sorry for the excessive questions.
I figured someone here would know the answer to this. Is it possible to use a shimano hone crankset with a spanish bottom bracket shell? A lot of dj mtbs these days seem to be going in that direction.
-Thanks
Yeah i was wisp a few times. Nah, I crashed in the chute before the burm that led into the double track/jump section. Hitting a rock at the top and landing on my head a the very bottom = fun.
I race jrx but I would not in the least consider myself one of the junior "pros". I was at the october Plattekill and crashed real hard in my run. My little bro got fourth which was pretty awsome- think you might have been at that race.
