Thanks for your responses everyone. I paid 400 for it so im not too mad about it. I love the geometry of the frame so that alone will keep me on it. In the spring I might buy another frame to replace it, something a little stronger, but who knows.
does anyone know if ellsworth uses a softer aluminum in their frames? ive already gotten 3 dents in my specialist and each new one kills me a little bit inside. each coming from a little mistake on a bench or a picnic table.
Ive got an 02 and i love it to death. Its plush, reliable, and very smooth down the mountain and on the trails. I might soon be buying an 02 single crown to match it for my specialist.
