Wed 8/25?
I will be visiting that week. If anyone's heading over there on an after-work sort of schedule & could give me a ride from near Microsoft, I may be down for helping out.
I probly won't have a bike Wednesday, so a work party may be just the thing.
(See also my business trip thread. :-)...
Should I assume from the lack of replies that this is a bad idea? Too complicated?
I can't come this far northwest and leave without riding! arrgh. I need ideas. Help a visitor out. I live in the south now... must. have. hospitality!
;)
So, I'm gonna be working at Microsoft in Redmond MonThu next week, & flying home mid-day Friday. Trying to figure out if I can squeeze in a Thurs eve and/or Fri am bike ride...
Duthie Hill and the I-5 Collonnade seem to be the obvious destinations. But, if there's any other recommendations...
Yes, I remember the Eagle Snacks team...! and went to Woodward camp for racing (always wished I was in the freestyle program... foam pits!), footdown is the best!, Chase Digit (who I beat at Woodward Nat'ls... cuz he slipped his pedals), raising hell inside the hotels and skywalks at the best...
Most ISIS BB tools I see have teeth on the outside, which would seem to go into BB cups that have inner teeth. like this:
However, my BB looks like this (click image for a way-too-big version):
What tool do I need to remove this BB? Links to online stores appreciated...
Thx
It's definitely a big mental barrier to get past, if you're hitting something for the first time, esp if you haven't even seen someone else hit it first. Hard to know how to get the speed right...
On the first try, I usually get a little more speed than I think I need, and keep the front...
So, I got these Azonic Chubby PDW bars, which seem pretty cool, but have the oversized middle (28.6mm I think). I would need a new stem to run it. Azonic has the matching Chubby stem, but I don't see it in a 1.5" for oversized headtube.
Any suggestions on a stem that would fit that?
Thx
I just switched from RaceLites to 4x4s myself...
At 6'2", my legs were too long for the RaceLites (they only come in S, M, & L). I got 4x4s in XL, and they seem fine so far. Definitely more leg coverage. They feel a little bulkier than they look in that photo, and definitely take a little longer...
I noticed that my garage is cold...
Snow is not melting from my tires, and theres ice & salt residue from riding on the snowy street.
Is this gonna be really bad & crack or rust my frame? Should I take the bike to a warmer spot for meltdown & rest?
...community service and I'm still the mack.
It's sunday morning, 9am, 18 degrees outside. I'm hung over and my voice is shot.
I'm garnishing my first cup of coffee, and I find... I'm out of milk. Crap.
What could make this situation worse?
I know!
I'll ride my bike to the store.
Yea...
