I have a 2001 jeep cherokee with a roof rack, and i like how i can usually make it to the trailhead because its not so huge like a full size pickup, but it still will throw some mud. Plus the Jeep has heritage like no other
I would say try to get your hands on some sun MTX's... they are superlight and super strong. My bro got some in the urban camo and they look amazing on his porter and 7 point frames. I am sure that they would look sweet on a P2 as well as being incredibly strong and light.
I saw one on pinkbike for 275... but i think it sold quick cuz it was only up for 1 day. My brother just got a porter and it is a sick frame, especially with a stiffer fork. I would try to get it closer to 400 though...

The pike is a fantastic fork. Stiff, stable, relatively light and adjustable travel for when u have yer jumping bike out and u see a huck that u have to hit.
