And no, that is not upsweep, thats the backsweep on a flat bar rotated to a positive angle.
Flat bars are flat, by definition.

How can a flat bar have upsweep? Other than the orientation in the stem, (assuming the bar has some degree of backsweep) a flat bar is "flat". Am I missing something here?
Yeah, I recognize the bar, I used 11 in the past and now 17, but on either, anything above level killed my wrists. I'm now slightly tilted down, maybe 2 deg or so. Like I said, everyone has their way.

I don't think I could afford to buy a new Thompson after every ride, and judging from my past experience with shorter seatpost extension than that, it would be bent during every ride. Gonna need a steel or thick wall ti post for that bike.
I don't like soft tails. For me it's either fs or not. However, being the owner of a spider, I can say you couldn't give me one of these frames unless you provided a buyer for it as well. The rear triangle of these bikes flexes to a ridiculous degree. Companies like Intense make good arguments...
