Hey, thanks Aus and COmtbiker, I really appreciate it. Especially for letting everyone know at Full Tilt.
I am really hoping that someone will pull through. I can't believe someone would just take a bike like that. You've got to have some balls. This happened at the bike shop I bought the bike...
Hello fellow monkies,
My bike got stolen, and I'm hoping posting around this place will help any.
Here's a picture of the bike: (sorta large)

Please, keep a look-out for this bike:

I have a Dirt Jam Pro, and I love it! Not really so sticky for me, but I agree with the flexing part. It doesn't flex too much, though.
Good overall fork, does it's duties for me. :)
Yeah, I understood what the guy was trying to get at about the tensioners, but when it reached the point where he was trying to talk me out of a road cassette is when I got pissed off. I mean, do they NOT want me to buy something? Do they not want my money? Pfft.
I think I will go ahead and buy...
I took the time to write up a little story on my site about what happened the other day at a local bike shop called Ted's Bicycles.
Check it out here
Don't worry, no spam or nothing, just a direct link to the article.
I stroll into my local bike shop, aiming to get a road cassette, because often when I'm even riding around, I'm in the 16t-18t cogs in the back, and I rarely use the largest cog.
So I go to the cassettes area, look at the SRAM 9-spd road cassettes, and I find one and ask a clerk if he's tried...
Here's a bigger pic of my bike, but it's a little outdated. I have the El Camino hydraulics (with same rotors though) the Maxxis Holy Roller tires, and a new seat since that picture was taken. Hopefully I'll get a newer pic soon.
Oh, I can barspin just fine, my cables don't interfere. I put my 6" rotors back on. I won a set of Hayes' El Caminos from a contest Hayes was doing about a month or so ago, and they came with 8" rotors, so I put them on. Now I've got the hydros still, but with 6" rotors. Perfecto!
Also, you can...
This is the question. I need some help on making the decision of either keeping the front brake, or taking it off.
I have an 8" rotor on a fork that doesn't have a thru-axle, so it clangs and rings a lot on the caliper pads when I jump since the rim and fork aren't totally play-free.
I...
Welp, here I am again Monkies.
I wanna tighten up/adjust my derailleur so that it doesn't smack and clang as much as it does.
When I first bought the bike, the derailleur never clanged, so I know it can be done.
It's an SRAM X.7 Derailleur with a 9-Speed Cassette and a SRAM PowerLink...
Well, after a lot of maticulate adjusting, the rotor in the front hardly clangs even with the sharpest turns. It sometimes clangs when I land hard on a jump. You just have to position the caliper just right so the rotor doesn't clang around on both of them. Then the pads will wear and then they...
