yep, single pivots tend to have a littele bit of lateral flex and also brake squat. The floating brake and 12mm thruaxle helps al lot. I don't feel the flex, i am also a light rider (67kg). Here in the Netherlands / Belgium / Germany you also must have the opportunity to ride uphill. Walking...

the preload and rebound can be changed, but compression cannot be changed with the DH40. I own a RC2, I like the lowspeeds compression alot. It keeps the fork from diving. Fast-speed i didn't change at all.
