    Well, we went out yesterday morning- it was pretty cool, stayed fairly mellow on the XC trails. Feel like I need someone to show me around out there so I'm not missing the really fun stuff. We parked in the gravel lot and didn't have any trouble, though a couple guys got their packs stolen...

    Hey- so, yeah, I'm thinking tomorrow I'll finally try to ride SST. What's the latest on where to park? Any tips for the newby? I'm taking my old lady, so we'll probably go for a 'less extreme' line, if there is one. Thanks!

    I think they actually have a basketball team. I don't know.... I graduated in '92- it was definitely a freakshow back then, but I hear it's tamed down quite a bit since.

    I happened upon a cougar/husky shouting match in my grocery store parking lot Saturday. Defused the situation by interjecting re: the superiority of my Evergreen Geoducks. Much laughing and ridiculing of me and my alma mater ensued. We'll see who laughs last when they need their bongs...

    I'm thinking about building a Surly cross check for a commuter. My ride to work just went from 6 to 15 miles (one way) and the old allez is begging for mercy. Any pros or cons you can think of? Thanks

    Good show in OLY town this saturday.... Melvins with Jello Biafra...

    Anyone here know Big Business? They're moving from Seattle to L.A. to join the Melvins as bass & 2nd drummer. Crazy- never would think of the Melvins as needing more drums than Dale already provides. The next tour should be a trip....

    Who owns a Les Paul?

    I've got 3 LP's - a '59 jr., a '95 doublecut, and a '96 standard. The standard is the workhorse- and sounds the best for my two-piece sludgerock/noise band.
