Haven't directly compared (on the same frame) the Avy shocks to the Cane Creek Double Barrel, but for me, anyway, the Double Barrel was a phenomenal and easily adjustible shock on both the VP-Free and Turner Highline.

Haven't put it on a scale yet, but by my unscientific lift and guestimate technique, I am going to say in the neighborhood of 41 lbs.
