    So what's a dumber vehicle?

I got to drive a Rinspeed-tuned Turbo Cayenne. It was super-fast, but it felt like the freakin' space shuttle was taking off every time I hit the gas pedal. I mean, you could FEEL how heavy it was. The ride sucked on 23's too...

    Specialized BIG news! VERY Interesting....

There was just a little more specific information provided about how they improved the Brain shock (hydraulically manipulating the Inertia Valve). Was hoping someone knew a little more about what's going on up front.

    Specialized BIG news! VERY Interesting....

I understand. All I was saying is that I'm guessing a variety of lengths/rises will be available and the expense to inventory those stems shouldn't be THAT much more than keeping other high-end stems in-stock (as long as the big S doesn't decide to charge top dollar for their proprietary...

    Specialized BIG news! VERY Interesting....

I'm surprise nobody has mentioned the non-interrupted seat tube. I think that's one of the best things the new frame has going for it.

    Specialized BIG news! VERY Interesting....

They're making forks and shocks, so selling individual parts is a given (it's not like last time around when they just used RockShox internals). Besides, what's so complicated about shops stocking stems in a few different lengths and rises? I just don't see what the big deal is. Does anyone...

    Specialized BIG news! VERY Interesting....

Ha. I'd be willing to bet that Specialized will make those stems available in common/popular sizes.

    Specialized BIG news! VERY Interesting....

I wonder why they didn't at least add a little more offset... Looking at more pictures on the others sites, I've got to say that tire clearance SUCKS.

    Specialized BIG news! VERY Interesting....

Of all the things to pick apart, I really don't see what's so bad about an integrated stem. They just eliminated the hardware that the older bolt-on stems used to make it stronger and lighter. I imagine that most shops would allow you to exchange the stem on a new bike for a different length and...

    Specialized BIG news! VERY Interesting....

I'm pretty sure that increasing the diameter of the through axle by 25% would actually increase the stiffness by MORE than 25% if they were similar in every other respect.

    Specialized BIG news! VERY Interesting....

Why? It saves weight and I'm sure they'll be available in different lengths.

    Computerized Suspension

I'm pretty sure that Fox isn't using any type of magnetic shock fluid in their off-road shocks. I talked to them about it after I saw what Bose was working on. They had already looked into it, but the fluid is too viscus and would overheat in an off-road application. It's pretty cool technology...

anyone had luck applying for jobs via MOnster, CareerBuilder, etc?

Have any of you used any of the more industry-specific job sites like Malakye? We posted a listing there recently, but haven't gotten much interest from qualified applicants. I think that's probably just because we're not located in southern Ca though.
