Has anyone here had any expierence w/ a Maxtal & Non-Maxtal Mavic rim? I personally have only/am using Maxtal rims now; however I am taking a gander at the new EN-521 rim from Mavic - which is non-maxtal and am curious wether or not I would notice the 6106 aluminum being that much...
Anyone have any experience with these rims. Never have used a WTB rim/wheel. These bad boys are pretty light (500g) for a trail/all-mtn. rim. Any Feedback would be appreciated even if it is nothing but negative.
For me 70mm is just right; might be able to get away w/ 75mm but not the most common size. If your looking for light weight and very nice craftmans ship i would take a look at the Thomson's. I would also recommend Hope , a little litter than the traditional 25.4 Thomson as well.
Nice!! Yeah like i said i've been running a swinger 4-way for a while with no complaints, thus the interest in the evolver. How do you like your prophet? Can't say enough about mine.
Hello, Just curious to see if anyone here has put anytime in on a Manitou Evolver ISX-4 air rear shock. If so what is the feedback? I will/am coming from an older swinger 4 way air. And the new "No tools bottom out adjuster" would be a nice. But yeah just seeing if anyone has had some...
Word, thanks all the feed back. Like I said I've been running 721's on both the trail and the big bike now for a few season and have absolutely no complaints - but a lighter rim might be nice. Just hope it can hold up as far as durability goes.
Im thinking about maybe looking at some lighter rims for next season (using 721's now and have no complaints what so ever); and in my boredom I came across these bad boys and was curious to see if anyone here has ridden them and if so what are your thoughts on durability and such for an...
Nice, yeah i was thinking of doing a M4 in the front 7" and then a mini 6" in the back. By the way those new mini pro's or whatever w/ the carbon levers are by far the prettiest brakes i've ever seen.
What do ya'll think of these brakes for a light duty dh/aggressive trail bike? The only reason i say the mini's is because of the low weight, but do not know if anyone has experience with these. I know the Mono 4's will suffice. But would also like feed back on Hope Disc Brakes in general...
Curious to see if anyone here has ridden Hope Mini brakes. Was looking for some feedback as fas as using them for an all-mountain; aggressive trail bike. Stupid idea or what? And also durability and maintnence of Hope brakes general.
Has anyone had experience with a rear DT Swiss 340 hub? Any feed back? If being used for an aggressive trail/all mountain bike is it worth it to go up to the 440 hub? I know that both hubs use the star ratchet system, which seems cool. Any feedback is greatly appreciated - thank you

sweet rig zman!! im rocking the prophet for a second season now and have absolutely no complaints. Right now i have the regular frame with a swinger 4way air and pike dual air; wicked nice ride - loves to corner and climbing isn't bad as long you remind yourself to stay seated. i think next...
Does anyone know if it is possible to convert a hope pro2 hub (135MM spacing/regular qr) to a 12MM thru axle? i believe i read this somewhere; but who knows. thank's
Anyone have experience or suggest one size over the other; for a front tire?(Going to be running a 2.35 highroller in the back) I know that i have heard people say that maxxis's tend to run small and i have always run Kenda's but i thought I'd change it up this seasson. Just wanted to see what...
