I had the same problem, I blew one cartridge at a Mt Snow race, got it replaced with an 09 cartridge which apparently had better tolerances than the 08, rode it for maybe 7 hours before it had blown again. They're going to replace it with a spring as well. I'd suggest selling it while it still...
I normally use an adjustable wrench or 2. The second wrench allows you to bend just as section of the rotor rather than the entire. Flip the bike over and spin the wheel slowly, checking where it rubs hard on the brake pad, and bend accordingly. You can fix quite a few rotors this way as long...

Loosen the drive side nut a little and tap that with a rubber mallet, everything else after that is pretty straight forward. There's a washer in between each bearing and the front triangle that you'll have to remember to put back in.
I'm running an LG1 and gravity lite cranks on a morewood izimu so it has the same specs as what you are describing. I have the LG1 bolted on with 1 set of spacers underneath, and then the bb is on there with no spacers. I needed 2 real thin ones on the crank axle and everything lines up now.
XL 661 helmets don't have much room in the face either. I wore an XXL Azonic Fury (or the 661 equivalent) and then switched to an XL/XXL D2 and that fits just fine.
