    Why do you need an 8" slab? 6" reinforced should be fine, and what commercial construction calls for. Are you including rebar in the foundation?

    I mount mine on my helmet for downhilling, and chest mount for trail riding. Fairly stable, very little, if any, shaking, unless really rough terrain.

    Seeing that I can sweat in a freezer, I use Headsweats skull caps. They work well for me, and I don't get rivers of sweat running into my eyes.

    I switched to these from Nevegals, and haven't had any problems. I have ripped through the trails at Viet Nam in Mass, all over CT, upstate NY and Vermont. I tip the scales around 200, maybe a little more with gear. I did rip one of the side walls, but a tire patch has been holding for a while.
