oh ****- i was looking at the tchokr a month ago and forgot about it.. the long version is 450mm! let me look into that some. Know where I can find one online?
Anyone know where I can get an off-the-shelf rigid fork @ 450- 455mm a/c? I'm running a Trailblade (440) but i want about a half inch more. The next closest thing is the XL Rebate Jump (465).. which is decidedly too tall. The Surly Instigator is about the right size, but I don't want raking...
Searched the forums and did find some info on the Syncros BHTs.. but nothing recent.
The BHT2 looks like a good fit for my full rigid AM rig.. but I hate ordering tires that look good on the net but don't measure up in person-- then i have to mess around with returning them, etc...
Need a hardtail frame to build up as town-bike. Something of the mid-90s variety would do just fine. Need between 17.5 and 19" in size. V or disc, doesn't matter. ping me: brizn at comcast dot net
I also have a 94 GT Tempest frame @ 21" for trade or to good home. Pics on request.
Anyone know what sort of tire clearance this fork has for aggressive mtn tires? Looking to run no bigger than Maxxis Advantage 2.4, which seem to be sized pretty accurately.
Noticed my heel on the rear pegs today on a 13.75 CS, so I guess I'll go with the 14.25 to be sure.
I want a super solid bike, and am not too concerned about weight, so long as it isn't a complete fat ass. I'm really inclined toward 14mm axles and 48sp wheels.
Will likely go with a Fly...
: thx. Great info.. and great links BiC. Thx for keepin the flame stoked.
So 21" should be fine. Now to have a look around at the various CS lengths and BB heights. And also on to wheels.. I wouldn't mind going 36 or 48, as I'm a bigger dood..
Both, thx for the replies.
I'm 5 point 11 tall, which is probably close to avg height. Like what I'm hearing about fit. Love those T1PB bars.. Is there any difference in strength top load vs. front end? Also, at my height, would the MacNeil Duece Duece be advisable?
Edyt~ gimme a good...
Help.
Diggit: I haven't ridden a small bike in any serious way for almost 15yrs. Have been riding Mountain for a number of years, but I've recently been turned back on to BMX- thx to a coupla shop monkey friends at Bicycle Fix in Frederick. I'm ready to get a bike.
My first thought was to...
RE: Fall Guy & Molly..
What he said. I like both of those.. but they're designed around suspension forks.. and they're more of a small MTB as opposed to a big BMXr. Thx Cru, will check the MirraCo24 (as in Dave?)
Seeking 24 inches of love for a bigger kid to throw down on. MTB-type rigs need not apply.. looking for 14x110mm rear and designed around a cro mo fork.
In addition to the list that follows, what should I be looking at?
Standard, 250s
Perv, Lewd Two Four
Subrosa, Letum Cruiser...
