Anyone see or heard about the Sea Otter DH course?

Daaaamn - yes it does look big - but also looks like the transitions are well shaped. Awesome looking build job, Dirtlab folks. What's the gappage on those doubles??? That first one looks at least 20' Kinda like the Inifinion doubles from last year? Now I need to figure out if I want my...

Anyone see or heard about the Sea Otter DH course?

Just wondering if anyone's heard or knows if it's going to be the same as last year - sans all the mud hopefully. Are they putting wooden ladders back in in the top sections? The one into the first table was cool, but the second one before the hip jump was not-so-cool (kinda hard landing...)...

    $ea Otter Camping

Yo - I'm looking for a spot to park my car and crash in the back just for Friday night. I'd be up for paying for part of a spot if you're still looking for others to go in on it - but since I only need Friday night, this may not be much of a help... Let me know though (send me a PM if interested).

    Lost Camelback in Los Gatos

I think I pulled a bonehead manouver and left my Camelback MULE on the sidewalk by my truck last Weds evening in Los Gatos (by the bridge over Hwy9). If anyone happened to have grabbed it, and you want to earn some karma points, please let me know. :-) 408-828-6806 Thanks, -Scott

Wilder Ranch breakin last week (9/12/07)

Yo, We did a ride after work last Weds and parked in the dirt pullout on Hwy1, and my bud had his window smashed. The crackheads got some bike tools and an older (cheap) Serius Radio (which is I'm guessing why they chose his vehicle, as that was just sitting up on the dash)...

    Trail booby-trapping in SC

That's awesome about those fn hillbilly crack heads finally getting their turn in court. Awesome that the lady got 5 years. More time is deserved, but sounds like 5yrs was the maximum. Lame that her boyfriend got off though. Hope they sentence the older guy to at least 5 years too. I...

Buy & Sell for Nor Cal & Bay Area only.

Brand new - nice looking gloves, but they didn't fit me, so they've been sitting in my garage still in the packaging. The main difference that they did for '07 looks like splitting the top carbon plate in half. They're size Mediums. Try em on first at my place in San Jose. If they...

DH race series in Monterey area

That fast time was all about the skinsuit. haha - good job Curtis. The course seemed like it would have been good even for a hard-tail - and there were some pretty fast hardtail times too. Since it's only $10 extra to add additional catagories after the first one, it got me thinking seriously...

    Sandhill Clinic/Fundraiser

Yo Mikey, I'm posting something to our Team Wrong Way email list - we've got a lot of bay area friends and lurkers on our list beyond just our team, so it may help to spread the news. If someone comes out, it could be anybody from an occasional-XC-racer-type looking to gain some basic jumping...

    CHDH RACEwas fun, BUT.....

Ouch! Theo, I love you man, but that hurt. I thought my courses were pretty cool in past years. Yes, I do agree that this was the best version of the course (props to Blake) - it was just the "by far" part that hurt my fragile ego. :nopity: However, I forgive you since you put me...

Important GGG Info - PLEASE READ

Yo all, I just want to give everyone a heads up - please spread the word. Good news and bad news. Good: we're almost definitely (99.99%) going to have the race regardless of the rain. If Carnegie demands it, we could be forced to shut down on Sunday, but this is extremely unlikely, even...

    Ggg Info

Some info on camping and the raffle: Camping: as always, camping is available in the main campground - call Carnegie for more information (925) 447-9027, $10/night/vehicle. They have bathrooms with flush toilets, and sinks, but no showers. Each camp spot has a fire pit too, which is cool...
