Thanks Udi! - :thumb: It makes consuming most of a whole year of my life with headsets worthwhile.
Were hopefully going to have a few more products available this year because of the support from customers from the headset line (A new-to-us matsuura twin pallet cnc was delivered 2 weeks...
I am subscribed to this, if you need components cnc machining get in touch, i would love to help.
Something i have pondered for a few years now is the possibility of making a durable, 'functional' dh frame at a very low price-point using sensible material choices (steel) and local...

Removing ano is removing material so dont go mental mental, if you have interference fit bearings in the linkage you would end up with poor tolerances (you would have to leave it for a fair while though or do it a more than once)or pitting etc as kidwithbike said.
I have used 'caustic soda'...
Use a socket, a bolt long enough and a couple of washers with a nut on the end to make a bearing puller, its nicer than using a hammer, especially if they are tight - I have worked on a few Intense frames in the same way.

Its only 2.54mm, the cups would align just fine and there would be no trade-off in bearing life etc.
BuckoW - thats a good, simple solution to the 'problem' of semi-integrated upper tapered headtubes.
AzNDevil - Our cups were made within tolerances specified on Cane Creeks technical manuals for this type of headset / bearing - they are tight i agree, the best way to install is pop them in a...
