Used to use the ODI ruffian however those are hopeless if your grip gets wet for whatever reason.. Recently tried the Deity Lean grips. Bought a set for all my bikes. Nice and soft and still grippy in wet! Gloveless all the way. :)
I checked the nut and it seems tight enough. its in place and not moving and the HSC Damper is still not working.. Anyone has any other ideas?

Mine just went blank. No damping at either max or min compression..

No you have to run a End cap with a cut out of a old bar in there also. I didn't use either, lazy. hahaha..
I'm more shock that the bar is still going on. Its been years!
