Thank you. I rode the 2012 in 18" yesterday. It felt great and I had 8.5" of seatpost at full extension. That should be plenty of room. I have longer legs than toso, so even though the 90mm stem felt ok, I'll throw a 70 on there for good measure. Looking forward to the availability of the 2013.
I'm looking at this one too.
What size did you get and how tall are you? I'm 5'9" with T-Rex arms, and am between the 16" and 18". How is the reach and what do you think of the long stem?
Thanks
I'm 5'9" and run Haven carbons on my trailbike which are 711mm and perfect for me. I have the ProTaper carbon 720mm on my hardtail and notice I choke up on them a little bit.
650b is here to stay. There are plenty of rim and tire options out and more are on the way.
Where and how you ride are the factors you should be most concerned with. Both sizes have their pros and cons.
That happened to me a number of years ago as well. $100- Then they tried to charge me for an overdraft, which I fought and won, but my $100- was gone. I was pretty broke at the time and so I went back to the bank I had as a kid. Been very happy there ever since.
I have a 2006 Reign 1 and it has an RP2 on it which works quite well. If I had a choice though, I would go with a shock that does not have a large volume air sleeve. I'm only 165lbs and I have to run it at the higher end of the pressure range.
