anyway. Upper trails are in OK condition, some downed wood I cleared a bit. Don't know about the lower trails, but saw people parked to hit up the lower trails so I'm guessing they are ridable.

you are pumping from the bottom to the top right? make sure you are only pumping in liquid, without any bubbles.
could also be something more serious in the caliper or master cylinder (worn or broken seals/parts)

uggh, i checked myself over after riding the 'shed today, found a tick on my shorts.
i got a long sleeve jersey, but i dont really wanna wear pants when i ride in the summer, any suggestions? does tick repelent work? just spray that stuff on before a ride?
There are a lot more dog walkers, or just as many, as mountain bikers. I'd say don't bother 'building' unless you get permission. I used to ride there all the time, and I know where exactly you are talking about. illegal trail building is just silly, it can cause us to lose our riding rights...
