Hey man,
Sorry to hear about the break. I broke my scaphoid in Late February and got surgery in the beginning of March. I was in a cast for a month and am now doing physical therapy. I am not allowed to ride until June because the bone has to heal around the screw. Did you have surgery or...
Which model fox gloves are they? I looked through their online catalog and didn't come up with much for a glove with wrist support. I too broke my wrist over the winter and am still recovering and would love to have that added support for when I am able to ride again.
Well I got my new SX frame in today and since I haven't seen any pictures of them around here, I thought some others would like to see one built up.
Since there's about 2 feet of snow out, I can't really ride it, which sucks but my initial impressions are good. The BB height is really low...
I just converted my boxxer team into a WC last night. You don't need to replace the left stanchion. They claim it reduces stiction, but its a lie, mine feels great. I ordered directly from sram and they had plenty of the air top caps and air spring assemblies in stock. Just go though your lbs...
I'm a sram fan for sure and I am going to be putting either a argyle 409 (air) or a pike air u-turn on mine once I get it. I am going to be using this for slopestyle, so for 4x you can certainly go with something lighter. I would recommend either a revelation dual air 20mm (I have this fork on...
I'm pretty sure what those people did were just use the granny ring and grind down the larger tabs. Typically a granny ring is 22 or 24t but you could prolly track down a 25 or 26t.
Hope that helps
I would replace like said above. Rigid (like Cru said) or something like the base model rockshox argyle. Fairly inexpensive, RS has great warrantee and its just a solid DJ fork. There has been many problems w/ the gold labels (cracking, leaking, ect...). Another thing is, are you looking for a...
Alright, thanks for the help everybody. SO, what I am getting from all of this, it WILL work, but just a very tight fit? I was aware of metric/american cut but was just clarifying if this will work. Considering I already have the cranks and am a lightweight rider, I don't think I will have a...
I remember a year or 2 back there was a thread about using an FSA BB with 19mm spindle cranks (demolition). I've searched and haven't found it yet... Anybody remember which bottom bracket it is?
thanks
Only have pictures of when we just finnished the 1st jump and when the landing was soft/not packed. We'll have to take some more riding shots for sure.
Keep in mind:
I just recently put a duke extra firm spring in my pike and its pretty soft. I weigh 130 pounds and is fairly soft (w/ some compression). Just a heads up if you were looking to do that.
