What is the difference between lube and anti-seize? I know on a chain you would use lube but let's say on a BB installation would anti-seize be more appropriate?
I have never been to the french areas of Canada. I'm considering driving to Bromont for a few days of riding. My question is; Is it hard to get around ( are all of the road signs in french?) and communicate if I don't speak french?
I had my Pike Pushed about two years ago for my Prophet. It was well worth the money. I have not met anyone not happy with a Pushed product. I am probably going to buy their new Monarch RT3 for the same frame.
I also do some shuttle runs that have quite a bit of pedaling. My 08 Glory pedals pretty well for a DH bike. That's the reason it is on my list, not so much because of the weight.
Im presently on a 08 Glory but the frame is a large and I really should be on a medium. So Im looking to upgrade to a new frame. The two that I have my eyes on are either the 2011 Glory or Foes Hydro.
Im not a going to race but I do some freeriding. My riding style would be classified as...
I rebuilt both of the Codes. My new problems are;
Front brake lever takes a looooong time to extend back out after depressing it
Rear brake lever will only depress about 1/10 of the way it should.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Frozen Head is pretty far from Windrock. Windrock has their own campground about a 5 minute truck ride to the base of the bike trail. There are also a few other campgrounds closer than Frozen Head. If I remember correctly, Frozen Head is about a 45 min drive. Have Fun...
It seems that after about two days of riding my rear brakes are soft. I rebleed them, two rides later, soft again. This went on for most of last season. :rant: Also, everytime I bleed them the fluid is foggy black. I don't think I 'm burning the fluid because I ride my wife's bike, same trails...
I was planning my summer trip and decided to do a little more than just DH this year. I will be going to Yellowstone and Glaciers NP for hiking before hitting the any lifts. I seen that seen that Big Sky is in the area. Is the DH trails worth the stop for about a week or so?
I am looking to replace the Outlaws on my Glory. I like the engagement on the 2010 Mavic hubs and am trying to decide whether to go with the Crosslines or Deetraks. I like the weight savings of the Crosslines but they seem like they will be too light duty for DH. Anyone have experience with either?
