The kx250f I bought required a signature acknowledging there is no warranty because it's a factory race vehicle... If Raptor owners haven't had to sign anything like that, they better get some help from corporate. I've put 170k on a GMC Canyon with no frame issues, and let's just say I haven't...
Easy solution... spend a little extra on gas money and go the long route, or hike it. I don't know who the bad seeds are that are ruining this for the rest of us, but laying low is the key to riding illegal trails... not leaving trash in plain sight and being intrusive to the locals. They're the...
I've been riding a butcher up front and the hillybilly in the back from Northstar to Santa Cruz and they do well everywhere... Like Transcend said, they will get a little squirmy on rocks, but they stick like glue everywhere else.
Pack that dirty truck up and come riding at Hollister... I've got a futon you can crash on.
I've dropped racing off my schedule this year too, Sea Otter is a joke, and all other USAC races worth any time are out of state. I'm going to race the Northstar series just to have some fun because...
I used the Dakine for a while and it worked OK, but I had a lot of the same issues already posted. Rallying HWY17, HWY154, and associated shuttle roads caused for some sketchy near-bike-losses and several scrapes and dings. I hated having to watch my rearview mirror all the time to make sure the...
I've had that happen on multiple bikes (bmx, road, etc...). The road bike I traced it back to the front wheel that had some goofy balance issues. Pushing 40mph it would wobble bad and get worse with braking, scary to get it down to speed trucking into turns.
Tell her to eat a dick! I have multiple loud vehicles and have the same attitude towards neighbors as yourself... She is just being a b*tch because nothing else in life brings her joy. A low rumble like that in the morning shouldn't be enough to disturb the whole neighborhood unless you're...
I've been using moto vinyl (not sure if it's factory effex or not) with good luck... thick, strong and sticky. Doesn't leave much residue either if you're cleaning the bike up for resale.
For the record... Kona's ride like big turds. And Trek's break in half... Go lowball the crap out of someone on Pinkbike for a 2 year old demo and wait for them to get desperate. It worked on me. Sold mine for dirt cheap just to order the new-fandangled bike.
Does anybody know if Tahoe allows these? Hahaha, I'd be down to try one if I could get my hands on one... I hate being strapped to 1 or 2 planks, much rather rip it up on a goofy scooter if it means having some playtime.
I am fairly picky about suspension set-up and hand controls... but there's only so much an amateur rider can adjust before it's time to hit the trails and get faster. I've dealt with roadies/motocross/DH from sales and participant point of view and they all have their picky people, but in the...
If you ring your bell... it's toast. I've pulled apart multiple helmets I thought weren't broken because the crash wasn't terrible, turns out the foam is always compressed or cracked. One hit wonder.
