    Morewood sizing info??? Anybody??

I have the old 2011 web catalogue from Morewood, they haven't changed the sizes on the Izimus to my knowledge. I have a Large Izimu myself. Medium Izimu: Top tube 595 mm seat tube 400 mm Reach 396 mm

do YOU trust 1-1/8 long travel singlecrowns?

my theory: the problem is that you probably want to look pro, thus you have to use a DC-fork. If you get over that fact, a SC-fork like 66, FOX180, N´Dee works fine.

Kashima or not to Kashima, that's the question

What about looking into another brand of forks? FOX are in my book not known for being smooth.

    La Bresse WC

Regarding the protection thing I just think it is embarrassing the racers have so poor support for proper protection. Have they no sponsors willing to show their stuff???

toxic sludge and aluminum sourcing for bikes

I agree with most things you say, well said! But one thing I always like to point out and that is the education bit. What does that mean? I agree that there is knowledge that must spread to everyone about the fact that aids is not cured by raping children. But I also think that the...

Stay with Code or go Formula ORO K24?

I have been using K24 for 3 years now and they have been good! I like the levers, must be some special preference if you do not like them, but that is OK. Never bled them, but I have removed the hose from the lever a few times when building new bikes. Just attached the hoses again and went out...

toxic sludge and aluminum sourcing for bikes

I definitely agree with Zorba, aluminum sourcing is one of the most energy consuming processes there is. To close your eyes on the reality behind our toys is kind of ignorant. But, some people like to be and stay ignorant :)

Living the DHer's dream - where to do it?

lookey lookey no touchey! If you have the skillset then there should be no problem. I do not know about the living costs, but most swedish people there shares a flat with a few others. They have a lack of good technical engineers. Look into norconsult.com for work, that is the biggest multi...

Living the DHer's dream - where to do it?

OSLO? You have downhill in town @ Holmenkollen where you take the tram up the hill, yes bikes are allowed. It is near to Drammen and Hafjell which are both awsome places. You can probably get a job. Not as exotic as the alps or Malaga maybe, but it is a place where you can actually go ride...

    Shorts???

The 3rd pocket is on the right leg, the zip is nearly invisible. It also features vents with zippers on the inside of the legs. Good shorts, just a tad bit shorter than the TLD shorts.

    Shorts???

Or 2011 TLD Sprint shorts. Or DaKine 8 track.

    Should I ride a large?

@istratetm: exactly! Lets introduce a standardised way of sizing frames to which all manufacturers must comply! lets call it reach :thumb:

    Should I ride a large?

I would assume you ride downhill for the speed and the jumps. With the right size you can go faster with more confidence! You can put weight on the front without feeling like you are going OTB. The drawbacks such as (mentally) not as fast in switchbacks are not as big as all the benefits...

Living the DHer's dream - where to do it?

Malaga in Spain is a good alternative for year round riding. There you have a real city, the mediterranean and good food. Not that near to the alps in winter though. My own thoughts about the downhill dream means going with my GF at least 3 years and live a normal life with a proper job. The...

Living the DHer's dream - where to do it?

+1, to be more specific I wonder if there is anyone here that knows acoustic consultant firm near whistler or similar :) I tried to look into the other sections here on RM the other week but did not find any active place to start looking. Maybe a new section for living the dream where you can...
