My wife is originally from the Boston area and would like to eventually look at moving back. I'm addicted to my biking and need to know I won't go into withdrawal by moving from the pacific northwest. :^) I also do road biking and commuting, but I believe that shouldn't be an issue since just...
Here's the final outcome; first ride earlier today at the tree farm. Very happy with the result. Flows beautifully along the trail and is a kick to ride.
I'm not headed that way anytime soon, but you may want to throw a post up on craigslist. Might get a hit of someone who found it. (Or someone may go out there to find it themselves.) You could also check with the WA state patrol. Someone may have called it in and an officer got it off the road...
The large morphine is too small, but the large Transition Vagrant is pretty close to the frame it's replacing. This really is just an abuse after work bike, not planning on going out all day with it. I checked and Norco doesn't have any XL Rampage frames available. After done research it also...
We'll I've got a semi-custom 5" Ventana El-Rey. However it doesn't fit on the bus bike rack and I'm a lot more careful about abusing it. This is just to mess around on the local trails. I like getting back on a HT from time to time. So not looking to spend the cash for a custom frame.
I'm looking for a freeride hardtail frame that will be paired with a 160mm fork. Plenty of good options out there, but here's the catch. I'm 6'7" and 230lbs. So I need to have something bigger than the 17" Vagrant frame.
Suggestions? Somone suggested an XL Norco Rampage frame?
NBC
I don't have a TV, antenna, cable, etc... I just watch the shows I like online. Turns out NBC is willing to broadcast 5 hours of the obscure sports online, but won't let you watch the full swimming or gymnastic set of the day since it's being broadcast on TV. You just get a 20 min...

I thought about the Brooks, but I life in the Pacific Northwest so 6 months out of the year I ride in rain. Doesn't seem like a good idea with a leather saddle. Perhaps I'll try a Fizik. Seems like a number of people seemed to like that one. Too many choices.
L'Opie, I have a friend who swears by his brooks. How long have you had yours? Do you feel it was worth the $?
Mine has a pressure point right in the crotch where the crossing seams would be found on a pair of jeans. It's fine for up to 40-50 miles, but after that I start to notice more and more.
