Ya its definitely not sped up.. I met that guy when I was up in mammoth last summer and he is really fast. He's an instructor up there I think. He was at the race the day they rode Shotgun and got 1st or 2nd.
I have a Roco Air R on my mongoose khyber and I am happy with it but I am still having trouble getting it set up properly for my weight. Could someone give me some pointers on getting it set up? im 150lbs.
What size Mongoose Khyber do you ride and how tall are you?

there are many rock climbing companies that make "approach shoes" with sticky rubber. i use evolve psyches for biking and they grip amazingly
