I have the 05 race air on my transition preston fr along with a pushed rp3 and am loving both. The Pikes low weight and lock out make it nice for the climbs and when it's pointed down it has a stiff and accurate feel. Like the others mentioned the tunability is great! straight forward and it...
I'm looking to switch my ride w/v. drop outs to singlespeed and am up in the air about wether to build up a wheel using the Eccentric hub or just use a chain tension device. Any of you using this hub? if so how is it working out for you?
I'm looking for a lighter Am/FR fork w/ 20mm thru axle to replace a 03 DJ1. The Pike team air (dual air) looks good. I'm just looking for some feedback on how they hold up and feel from anyone that's put some time on this fork.
The Preston FR is a great bike that does well wether it's at Whistler or on my local single track with just a swap of the tires. It climbs reasonably well and is able to handle quite a bit on the way down. The geometery in both the 4"& 5" setting feel right depending on what you want it set up...

YO! Adam thanks for the info. I'm looking to put this fork on my Subterranean, I think it will work out well. If you get a chance do me a favor and measure how many inches there are from the crown to axle. Great Whistler trip this year eh! Hope all is well.
Jason
I'm interested in putting this fork on my hardtail for singletrack cruising and some dirt jumping. If anybody running this fork could give me some info: such as it's crown to axle length, weight, ball park price and any other pros or cons, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks, Jason
I'll call CB. I've used the egg beater set up on my xc rig with no issues. The problem I'm having is the cleats are not extending enough beyond the sole to engage ( even with both shims) ?
Thanks, Jason
Just purchased some launch shoes and mallet pedals and I can't get the clips to engage. I've tried putting both shims under the cleat, and cutting away some of the sole, but it's still a struggle. Anybody out there using this set up with any suggestions to make it work well, would be...
