Well, my 05 bottom link and end caps are all worn out and marred up. I have no problem sourcing an 07-09 link but does anyone know where I can get the 07-09 caps and shaft, stateside? I don't feel like spending $75 USD + shipping from the UK..
edit: Carnage shots
All 3 sets of snap ring pliers I have are either too short or too fat to fit inside my Code and Elixir lever bodies to remove the master cylinder c-clip.. I went to all the local hardware stores but I still couldn't find anything that would fit. So it looks like I'm gonna have to order something...
Planning on ordering a Legend MKII this week. Anyone have experience running with a CCDB or should I stick with the RC4? Price would be about the same..
It's usually rubbish until around July since they care more about the new ropes course than the MTB trails.. You'll literally get yelled at if you don't walk the bike at the bottom too... or ride the fireroads towards the bottom of the mtn by the ropes course so the ppl can walk to the ropes...
Don't get me wrong, I think NE is a GREAT place for a progrt, just not Highland... Moar rain = moar funnn ;)
Yes, the course is short and you don't have as much room for error, that's understood. But, if a WC track won't be like that, then why are we testing US riders on it...? Even though this...
So non-us riders points get dropped? I just remember seeing Bryn up top from last yr... Don't have time to look at results.pdf all day long here... have to skim stuff from homepages and such.
So does that make everything else I say invalid? If so, enlighten me.
Well yea....
But the course is suppose to best exemplify/replicate 'x' or 'y' WC track the racers(who gather enough pts) will be competing on.
So, as a US citizen, I feel that USAC/UCI/whoever was involved in picking the venue, did a ****ty ass job because now, who knows if we'll have the most...
Wonder how much Highland paid off uci/whoever for progrt venue.
1:50-2:10 course time (depending on course changes) to determine US WC qualifiers?
Not very tech, physically challenging, or pedally at all rly.
I never had a problem with twisting on about 6-8 DH days. The thick were too thick for my liking so I took them off. Haven't tried the thin ones however
