Rumor has it, the Rangers spotted a ran.....dumb feature that was recently built towards the bottom of the hill and they got pissed and got on their TV's and went to town.
with a chainsaw. The 3 ladders are gone and the 2 jumps after the 20' are gone, as well. They also ripped up the big berm at the bottom. Why? I ask you, why? Is there any reason to do this.....NO! It's such ashame to ruin everyone's fun just 'cause you don't believe/like something. :(
My first reccomendation would be to email Craig @ Avalnache. Once you get comfortable that he can make the correct shock for your steed then you are on your way. He calculates the shim stacks and compression based on your bike, weight and finally riding style. He doesn't mess around with...
:D
I went for it.........I now have the Avalanche Woodie on the Canfield Jedi and the Knolly DT. Holy Suspension! :thumb: This shock is amazing and has transformed both bikes. The Jedi now rips up everything in it's path and the DT is in perrrrrrrrfect sync with the 66 Ti up front. Two...
You won't know what to do with yourself with that much great suss on your bike! You'll lie awake wondering how you can get out of work and ride, every day. If you don't do that already. Craig's stuff changed my bike and the way I ride, it's amazing! :D
After speaking to Craig (Avalanche) he is working very hard on his mod for the DHX. He has a totally blown out shoulder that he is dealing with, as well, so be patient. I'm sure when his fix comes out it will be the BOMB, as all of his stuff is. :thumb...

Sounds like fun! We gots to ride soon....
On another note, I really hammered the DHS on the DT last night and all I have to say is, WOW! That shock is amazing once you push it to the limit. It really does perform better the faster and harder you make it work. Time to step it up!
Good eye! Yes, those are needle bearings that I'm giving a try. They make sense, but Craig (Avy) says "they really start working when you get into the 500lb.+ springs..."
