If this wasn't a weight weenie thread that would make perfect sense and I think everyone would agree with you but its not so bring on the delicious carbon and Ti.
Specifically about that build. I think the experiment was built because he could so why the hell not. He could race that rig at...
This is kinda funny. He is running lightweight parts but Bryan he goes large and he is pretty ****in' smooth. Unless he has been swapping out cranks every month he has been on most of those parts for a full season and for him that's probably over 500k vertical feet of riding a season. On NSMB...
Good feedback. I saw 2 dudes at Silverstar last weekend riding them and they had positive things to say although there was some play in one guys rear end which he said was a constant problem. When I was scoping out my Socom I had a line on one of these for a reasonable price and I've wondered...
Set the way back clock to about a year ago and everyone was drooling over the svelt curves of the Sunn Radical.
Just wondering if anyone here bought one and what their experiences have been? Customer support, durability, possible improvements that could be made etc etc.
Here's my Socom. A few bits have changed since this pic was taken like white lowers w/black stickers and few lighter bits. Currently sitting at 37lbs flat.
One of them was mine. Much crying. I love that bike and I honestly can't think of any bike I'd rather be on and I have a raging case of bike related A.D.D. As to durability, I've had mine a year and I've ridden it pretty hard with absolutely no issues but that vedder access road(4x4 only...
The parts were cheap so they are on the way. I picked up a pair of world cup lowers via ebay a while ago at a price I couldn't refuse whch may have helped fuel this little experiment. I'm gonna give it a shot and if I don't like the results then I can easily return to coil.
Thanks, Ya I remember that thread. It was more of a flame war than an info session but I was hoping a few months post-burnage there might be some real world feedback.
Anyone tried to upgrade their Team to World Cup status? Before I invest in the air side parts and swap her up I wondered if anyone else has tried it.
Parts numbers and a little research have revealed that the stanchions on the World Cup have been honed to get a better seal for the air so I'm...
Ya I like it. It weighed in on a legit scale as 36lb 3oz so its not like its tubby. I could do a bit more but I am like 185/190lbs so its on that line of too light and confidence in it's durability. The only change I might make is that I am currently looking for a World Cup which will drop it...
