I've been reading this thread as I am getting an early 09 boxxer race (08 boxxer in a different color) for a Sunday that I am building for next year. I have read in a couple of places that the 09 race has internally adjustable floodgate, does this mean that SRAM already has an internal adjuster...
Thanks for the thoughts guys. She has about 8 days in WBP this year on a 33lbs Covert running single ply tires and ryno lyte rims, can do the 2nd drop in the joyride park and can ride the berms on crank it up faster than me...(I can't believe they have held up either) I'm thinking I can skimp...
Can it be done sub 39lbs? The wife wants a new bike to race next season and she loved the feel/geo of a flatline that she rented at Whistler a few days ago. I know it is kind of a pig frame and I want this thing to be light enough for her to toss around. Anyone know of some light flatline builds?

I have a Van36rc on mine and the geometry is spot on. I would worry that the added axel to crown height of the 66 would wack that out a bit. Mind you the 36 still doesn't feel as good as my 66rc2x did last year, I am hoping it will feel much better as it breaks in.
I wonder if maybe wearing elbow pads would give you the added confidence subconsiously to not worry about injuring your upper limbs and concintrate on rolling properly. When I crash with elbow pads on I extend my arms and use them to sheild me; when I crash without elbow pads I tuck and turn...
