    Slash 9, In My Possesion!

How do you like the 19.5" size wise? How tall/inseam are you? It seems the slash is sized ever so slightly smaller than the remedy's, which fits this bikes purpose, and I am curious how you like it.

    Gwin's 2011 TWR Session 88

I wish they would have that same paint job on the OE bikes instead of the raw/red look going on for 10'...looks great. And yes, that dt looks wayyy bigger, but I think it's the huge TREK sticker.

    2011 Session 88 sizing question

I am considering the 2011 session 88, but with the new frame comes new sizing and the stores in the area do not have one I can throw a leg over. If anyone with a new 88 can share their size and frame size that would be very helpful. I am 6'2", and think a L would be best but the new XL has me...

    Question to engineers.

I was under the assumption the axle path was patented, and the process to achieve the axle path, link lengths location etc was protected, not having multiple links. You can simply look at the US patent website and find it.

Central Ohio Downhill Course, At Newarks Horn Hill

I finally made it out today and hit both trails multiple times. Fun, but very short. I kept beating my shuttle down the trail by 20 seconds. I started to ride up and do a loop, which made it not seem as bad. That's a great workout but obviously gets tiring. The two trails are a lot of fun, and I...

Ohio downhill course, At Newarks Horn Hill [X-Post]

That's awesome guys, great work. I moved to Columbus Ohio from California for work and have been looking for good places to ride. I just finished building my MKIII up too so it looks to be just in time. I am unfamiliar with Ohio so where is this place in relation to Columbus?

    IronHorse 6Point8 questions?

Hey guys, does anyone know when the IronHorse 6Point bikes are going to be avaliable? More specifically, when the 6Point8 will be out and how much is the retail price? There are not any IronHorse dealers near by so I can't ask them. I also saw that there will be a 15", 17" and 19". This summer I...

    interest in BMC frames...

It's not about the weight. Yes, many road frames are sub 1000g-900g mark and they are light, but they don't ride well, crack or are flexy as hell. It's about ride quality, because when there are a multitude of frames out there at the same weight you need something important to distinguish them...

    How big is your tv?

56" Samsung DLP. I love it, but I have watched way too much tv my entire life...that is how I justified buying it. Like having a great dh bike when you race pro, it pays off, haha.

What do you think of the 2007 GT DHi?

You have to remember that if he hit it head on, the wheel will be incredibly strong, because there is very little bending. However, in the same sitiuation the head tube will see a very large bending moment...and that is why the frame broke. Sometimes the wheel is not the weak member, that is why...

What do you think of the 2007 GT DHi?

I like it. I had the original DH-i, the blue one and I loved that bike. So quiet and it worked well...too bad about the swingarm always having huge stress concentrations above the BB.

Outboard bearing cranks on 83mm shells?

You have to get the Saints specifically for the 83mm shell, it has it's own part number. I believe they are the only shimano cranks that accept the 83mm shell. Race Face Diabolous cranks also come in an 83mm shell, not sure on others. It is mainly for freeride/DH bikes and that is why most of...

Long Travel RS SC from Tapei

Curtis put down your design book, put down the bong and go finish your senior project. God knows we need more pedals out there without bearings. Haha, just kidding bro...I like to see you learned something in streangths.

    Who has an LG-1?

Well I have, and hours to an engineer are like minutes to us. A few days of R&D are nothing compared to what goes into more complex designs. I will attest to using plastics though that it is a little more time consuming when figuring out the correct "formula" to get the properties you want that...
